**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with a 21-year-old male participant based in Thirroul, NSW. Our participant recently sustained a spinal cord injury which has resulted in the complete loss of his lower and upper limb movement

The current care plan in place requires support in 2 hour blocks throughout the day. There are Morning shifts, Afternoon shifts and evening shifts available. The morning shift hours are (8am - 10am), afternoon shift is (12pm - 2pm) and evening shift is (8pm-10pm).

This role will be commencing on Monday the 17th of July therefore must be available for an immediate start

**Pay Rates**:

- Day - $38.00 per hour
- Afternoon - $41.80 per hour
- Saturday - $53.20 per hour
- Sunday - $68.40 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with catheter management
- Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation)
- Hoisting (full hoist/sling hoist)
- Completing skin checks
- Medication administration
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Childrens Check
- NDIS Workers check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Training - Covid19
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
