**Role Description/Criteria**

The **enhancement teacher **role is to support students through intervention and extension programs to grow the learning of all students. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities to promote high expectations for all, embrace a collaborative approach to learning and teaching, and demonstrate their contribution to the ongoing development of our learning community.

The position is negotiable in relation to time allocation (but is part-time 2 x days= 0.4).

Applicants are asked to demonstrate:

- an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
- an ability to support children through school intervention programs such as Bond's Blocks Program, Sound Waves, MacqLit, MiniLit etc an advantage
- an understanding of evidence based best practice and high impact teaching strategies
- an ability to work collaboratively in a team
- a capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching.
