**About the Role**:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated **Delivery Driver & Storeperson** to join our team. This is a hands-on dual-role position involving the timely and safe delivery of gas cylinders and welding supplies to our valued customers, along with general warehouse and store duties.

**Key Responsibilites**:
**Delivery Duties**:

- Safely deliver gas cylinders, welding consumables, and related equipment to local customers.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Conduct basic vehicle pre-start checks and ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
- Load/unload products using appropriate manual handling techniques and safety protocols.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service on delivery routes.
- Conduct daily and weekly gas audits and liaise with the gas supplier on stock requirements

**Warehouse / Storeperson Duties**:

- Receive, store, and dispatch gas bottles and welding supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory counts.
- Prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Keep the warehouse and yard tidy and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist walk-in customers and respond to general enquiries.
- Operate forklifts and lifting equipment (training provided if required).

**Requirements**:

- Current MR Driver’s Licence is essential - the role cannot be completed without this
- Forklift licence is essential - the role cannot be completed without this
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred.
- Good physical fitness - capable of manual handling 20-25kg is essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Friendly, customer-first attitude.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
