**Eilbeck Cranes** is a 100% Australian owned company operating in Australia for 116 years specializing the design, manufacture and installation of all types of overhead cranes, hoists and winches.

Due to the ongoing business growth, we are seeking to employ a **Mechanical Fitter **to join our **Truganina, Victoria Operations**.

**The Role & Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
- To perform repair work to cranes, Installations of cranes, hoists and materials handling equipment and from time to time other equipment in a professional and tradesman like manner.
- Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
- Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments

**The successful applicant should have**:

- Mechanical Trade
- Previous experience within the Crane industry
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Effective troubleshooting and problem solving ability
- Must be well organized and show effective time management skills
- Must have a current manual Drivers License
- Must be safety conscious and the ability to promote a safe environment
- Must be available to work overtime and travel to remote sites when required
- Sound Mechanical aptitude

**Salary Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour**

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
