Hanson is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations in across Australia.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional **Weighbridge Operator/Administrator **to join our **Canberra Quarry,** situated in Williamsdale, just outside of the ACT border. This is a multi-faceted role which will see you not only on the bridge, but out on the ground, learning to operate the mobile machinery. Your rostered hours will be Monday to Friday 6:15am - 5:00pm and Saturday mornings 6:15am to 1:00pm when required.

**In your new role with us, you will**:

- Operate weighbridge and focus on accurate truck allocation
- Provide high level customer service to our valued customer base
- Support a range of ad-hoc administrative requests for the site and workshop
- Process Purchase Orders and finalise timesheets
- Manage stock levels of varying product and site materials

**This role is a great fit for you if you**:

- Have high attention to detail in work output
- Are a team player and hold a high regard for safety policies and procedures
- Enjoy contributing to a productive team environment to achieve results
- Have a background in Freight, Allocation or Logistics (ideal but not essential)
- Hold a current Loader Licence and Forklift Ticket (highly regarded but not essential)
- Experience in SAP would be advantageous
