**The Client**

My client is a large mining house that owns and operates a number of large mining operations in AU. They are looking for a
**Production Superintendent **to manage a team of Senior Supervisors in the Production Department.

**The Opportunity**

This is a mine site-based position. Reporting into the Production Manager, this role will be responsible for managing a team of experienced Senior OCE/Supervisors.

It is a permanent, full-time staffed position with the Owner-Operator. Monday to Friday position.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of 4 Senior Supervisors and indirectly more Supervisors + ~600FTEs,
- Through-seam mining and overburden removal,
- Primary focus on the shovels, excavators and dozers,
- D&B, Mine Services and Coal are with other Superintendents,
- Must show face, lead by example and be present at pre-starts,
- Promote a safe working enviroment for all your crews,
- Meet and/or exceed overall production targets.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years as a Production Superintendent in truck/shovel mining,
- OCE background would be highly regarded,
- Experience in through-seam mining would be advantageous to this role,
- Must live/work/reside in the Hunter Valley region.
