Your new company is an industry leader within the Education Services sector, based in Geelong. We are actively seeking an accomplished Service Desk Support Engineer to join the team, take the next step in your career with an exciting new contracting opportunity.
**Your new role**
The role is responsible for:
- Provide daily support for Students with non-school supported, Notebook Computers: attaching to Network, loading of required Software, Internet and E-mail access
- Provide daily MAC and Windows computer related field support to all Teaching Staff and Admin Staff as required
- Manage & maintain allocated Service Desk tickets through FreshService consistent with the agreed Service Levels and ITIL principles.
- Maintain & provide user support for Mac related Notebook Computers, Desktop computing & peripheral equipment, including support as required for other Windows based Desktops, Printers, Scanners, Video Conferencing.
- Provide assistance with the installation and commissioning computer equipment and peripherals as directed including; iPads, Laptops (Mac and PC) Desktop Computers, Printers, and peripherals.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Recent experience working in an ICT Service Desk Officer role or similar.
- Minimum two years’ experience working in an ICT Service Desk.
- Familiarity with ITIL based Service Desk processes
- Demonstrated experience working with current laptop, tablet, mobile, and desktop hardware and software.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar field.
- Demonstrated experience working with Windows 10 / 11.
- Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office Suite 2013/2016 and O365.
- Demonstrated experience working with MS Outlook.
- Proven Mac Hardware troubleshooting / diagnostics and break fix.
- Experience with supporting Mobile Phones.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
