We are on the lookout for our next superstar to join our Launceston IPAR in the role of**Principal Consultant**in a**permanent Full Time capacity.

This role is ideally suited to a current Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant looking to diversify and further strengthen their experience or a Rehabilitation Consultant looking to take that next step within their career This is a fantastic opportunity strengthen your experience and further develop your skills in Occupational Rehabilitation whilst being part of a dynamic and passionate team in Tasmania

In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. Your role will involve a mix between senior duties and also case management providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Your duties will include:

- Manage a portfolio of workplace rehabilitation cases (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
- Develop and implement a plan for RTW and progress the upgrade of
this plan in consultation with key stakeholders (injured individual,
employer, treaters, referring body and other relevant parties).
- Mentor and coach consultants to support their achievement of service delivery, customer service (including SLA requirements) and billable minimum threshold.
- Assist with the induction of new consultants and performance management processes.
- Customer relationship development
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
- Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
**Qualifications**
You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below
- Tertiary qualification in an Allied Health Discipline
- Full Professional Registration or Accreditation (AASW, ASORC, AHPRA or ESSA)
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
- Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders;
- Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
- It's the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus;
- A current valid** Driver’s License** and access to **own car** with **comprehensive insurance** is a must.
