**Description**:
Based in Woodgrove Shopping Centre and reporting to the Maintenance Manager this exciting opportunity has become available for a professional and organised team member to work with one of Assetlink’s clients. The role will be responsible for performing overall maintenance work on-site.

This is no ordinary job; we are seeking that special someone with a bright and uplifting personality that can relate and communicate with all team members at one of Assetlink's Premium Retail in the Western Suburb of Melbourne. You will be someone that rolls up their sleeves and takes pride in their work.

Trade qualification or background is preferred but not essential, however all round handy-person skills are required.

**The Roster for this role is**: Part-Time - working Saturdays and Sundays.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be a point of call for all maintenance works on-site
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, patching, painting & furniture repair work
- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work
- Preparing routine maintenance schedules and reports
- Maintain the presentation of the centre to a high standard
- Competent with minor repairs, general building maintenance and upkeep of the centre
- Respond promptly to all work requests and communicate actions to be taken
- Provide excellent customer service skills to assist with tenants and clients
- General maintenance duties such as measure, cut, or shape materials etc.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:
Great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
High Standards of Workmanship
Confident working on ladders and handling various tools
Versatile handyperson skills
Weld patching, removing of spatter and breaking of edges
Paint touch-up
Be self-motivated and able to take initiative
Have good time management and organisational skills
Physically capable of moving equipment
