- Information Systems and Technology (IST) comprosises of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology _
- (OT) at Talison deals with technologies that can improve control and decision making associated with operations, _
- maintenance and support services. The strategy is to develop clear outcomes for IT and OT projects based on close _
- consultation with stakeholders and an excellent understanding of the technology capabilities and limitations. _
- IST remit includes selection, implementation and support of data production systems and process control systems _
- (PCS), PCS and data standards, OT servers and network, IT& OT cybersecurity, data systems and PCS stand-alone _
- projects and OT component of large projects such as new plants and expansions. As well as support end users with _
- required hardware and software, networking and user support. _

**About the Role**
Currently cyber security sits under the IT and OT teams. This newly created role will head a stand alone
cyber security and IST risk team, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.
- This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security leader who is keen to have

input and genuine influence over the direction and strategy of cybersecurity capability across the
the largest hard rock lithium miner in the world.
- This role is based in Perth, however, occasional travel to Site in Greenbushes will be required.

The role will:

- Develop and deliver the Cyber Security Strategy to identify the required roadmap of projects and

initiatives to increase and improve Cyber resilience, maturity and security posture.
- Align Talison’s approach to the chosen Cyber Security Framework(s)
- Manage a small team maintaining and/or implementing information security policies and
- procedures- Manage the development, deployment and execution of controls and defences to ensure the
- security and risk mitigation of company infrastructure technology and information systems- Identify security architecture, goals, objectives and metrics; analyses business needs and
- priorities for protection of critical systems- Manage security programs and assurance, e.g., threat and vulnerabilities management, incident
- response management, management of forensic investigations- Develop and executes security system compliance policies and procedures
- Informs the review and refinement of policies, procedures and processes owned and managed
- by IST- Define reporting metrics and implement reporting and control of these metrics for IST and Risk &
- Governance teams- Working with the larger IST group (IT and OT):

- to ensure new technologies or systems are compliant with cyber security practices
- to consult, implement or support cyber security initiatives in their area
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, gap analysis and assess security

threats/vulnerabilities to manage business risk

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience as a Cyber Security Manager or in similar role
- Experience with working with Business and IT process definition or continuous improvement
- methodologies- Previous experience of building and/or running technology Security teams
- Strong knowledge of Cyber Security Frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Previous involvement in embedding new processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt rapidly to a changing environment
