About the role:
- Perform loading and unloading of liquid waste across a range of waste streams which may include Septic, Industrial waste waters and packaged wastes
- Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high quality customer service at all times
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions, or operating procedures and company regulations
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner
- Must hold a HR or HC Licence
- Must hold a Dangerous Goods Licence
- Has knowledge and experience in the transport and handling of dangerous goods, and/or experience working in the waste industry - particularly the vacuum loading of dangerous goods
- Has a good work ethic and is dependable
- Has a commitment to safety, is self-motivated, with a mechanical aptitude
- Can work on an afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work or on a rotating roster.
