Tyre Technician

We are looking for a motivated team member to join our growing team here at our franchise location of Bob Jane located in Capalaba.

If you have a drive and a passion for all things automotive and absolutely love keeping people safe on our roads, we have a vacancy for a ‘tyre technician’.

The right applicant should have the following,

**What you will need**:

- Enthusiastic work ethic.
- Experience is always welcome.
- Willing to undertake on-going training and development
- Driver Licence.(Manual licence preferred but not essential.)
- Appropriate Australian working rights. Must be living in Australia ( Capalaba)

**What you will be doing**:

- Diagnosis of tyre condition and reporting to office staff.
- Puncture repair(s) on vehicles.
- Replacement of tyre(s) on vehicles.
- Replacement of valve stem(s), and (TPMS) units (Tyre pressure monitoring system),
- General ‘check’ tyre condition reporting on vehicles, including pressure checking vehicle(s) throughout.
- Setting vehicles up correctly on ramp(s) for lift,
- Trade liaison, drop off/pick up goods (Wheel(s), (Tyre(s).
- Diagnosis using equipment provided for (buckled wheels) and or damaged wheels beyond repair, eg: leak/crack.
- Balancing wheels using the equipment provided and reporting findings for fault finding purposes.
- Stock receival and stock put away into designated areas.

- Motivation to succeed as a team.
- There will be times when you will be working on your own, and other times when you will be working within a team,
- Common sense (Most important) we cannot stress this enough You are not expected to know everything straight away so do not be alarmed, as on-site training will be provided.

However, we do expect that over time that you take notes and/or retain knowledge to further push yourself and/or progress in skill level to the next level.
