Is one of Australia's largest coal producers based in the Hunter Valley. They boast three tier-one thermal coal mines in New South Wales together with interests in three other metallurgical and thermal coal mines located in New South Wales and Queensland. They also manage five other Australian coal mines on behalf of related parties. **The Position**:
Based in the Hunter Valley (greater Singleton area), the HR Advisor role is responsible for effectively partners with stakeholder to drive engagement, productivity and efficiency that are delivered in a consistent and best practice manner in alignment with Yancoal values. This position assists the HR Manager to provide proactive and effective HR support to the site operational team. This role is responsible for successfully driving HR initiatives across the operation to meet the site plan on a page target while supporting an inclusive safety culture. This is achieved through strong influencing and clear communication to key stakeholders to deliver site aligned outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- HRIS Management (SAP)
- Organisation design and workforce planning
- Interpreting industrial legislation, awards and agreements
- Managing workers compensation cases
- Mediation
- Incident investigations & reporting
- Implementing Group policies
- Reporting and data analysis
- End to end recruitment and selection
- Remuneration and benefits
- Performance Management
- Relevant degree qualification(s) and at least four years' experience in a similar role
- Proven experience proactively managing a variety of employee relations issues
- Proven experience in managing organisational change
- Drivers license
- SAP experience strongly preferred.
