Medical Receptionist Traineeship

An exciting opportunity to gain entry-level experience in Medical Reception, while working towards a Certificate III in Business Administration.

This entry level position is ideal for anyone looking to take their first steps towards a career in Medical Administration. You will be provided on the job training within a busy Medical Centre, whilst gaining a Certificate III Business Administration. You will be allocated some hours within your working week to complete TAFE appointed assignments.

**This role will include working four weekdays and one Saturday shift each week.**

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

- Desire to pursue a career in the medical industry
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Enthusiasm for learning on the job
- Year 12 or equivalent qualification
- Availability to work Full Time hours, including Saturday and evening shifts
- Ability to commit to a 12 month contract
- Can-do attitude

This role will include (but is not limited to):

- Appointment scheduling and management
- Billing procedures
- Message relay between patients and doctors
- Varied administrative duties including faxing, scanning and filing
- Infection control procedures in response to COVID-19
