ABOUT THE ROLE
SCR is seeking a Booking Centre Agent to join our vibrant Varsity Lake dedicated call centre on a full-time basis.
As the voice of the organisation, and often the first point of contact for many patients and referrers, this role will see you scheduling and managing of patient appointments and facilitating the pre-admission assessment process across all modalities including CT, Xray, Ultrasound, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine (Including PET) for all sites.
Reporting to the Booking Centre Manager, your key responsibilities include:

- Answering telephone calls in a courteous, professional, and sensitive manner
- Scheduling specialist appointments for our patients using our state-of-the-art RIS system - Karisma
- Quoting relevant fees and Medicare rebates to patients
- Informing our patients of preparation requirements prior to their visit
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of Receptionists, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, and administrative staff

**Key Responsibilities**
- ABOUT YOU
- Experience in a Radiology administration setting or a patient facing role (highly desirable)
- Excellence in customer service delivery in order to exceed patient and referrer expectations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to show patients care, compassion, and empathy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise appointment slots
- Strong attention to detail and focus on completing high quality work
- An ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to meet targets
