- MacKillop Education Waranara is a Specialist Assistance School that caters for students from Years 9-12 who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from mainstream education. It provides the opportunity for Young People who are experiencing mental health issues and significant life challenges to re-engage with education. **This is a permanent Fulltime position based at Waranara School in Annandale**

**About the role**:
We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated PDHPE Teacher with the opportunity to teach stage 5 Math's and/or Science.

Working with a highly skilled team, this position will work to develop and deliver effective and engaging evidence-based learning programs suited to our students' diverse needs, while meeting the requirements of the NSW curriculum. Your role will be central to engaging a supportive and effective learning environment.

**Key Selection Criteria**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experienced Teacher, preferably for NSW curriculum.
- Bachelor's degree in education.
- Demonstrate a well-being trauma informed approach to students
- Highly organised with lesson plans, marking, registers and reports.
- Ability to be flexible and work as part of a small team.
- To demonstrate a well-being trauma informed approach to students.

**Requirements**:

- Valid and current NESA Teacher Registration
- Valid and current Working with Children Check
- Valid and current Driver’s Licence
- Valid and current NDIS Worker Check (for NDIS risk assessed roles)
- Satisfactory criminal history check conducted by MacKillop Family Services
