**Role Information Year 3-6**:
The HASS Teacher will be working with teachers to develop capability and ensure the program is managed with fidelity within the school.Applicants should provide a current CV (maximum 2 pages) including contact details of two referees (one of whom should be your current supervisor) and a one-page statement outlining your suitability for the role by answering the following two questions: 1. As the HASS Teacher, how will you engage the learners of Years 3-6 across the area of HASS while adhering to the requirements of the Australian Curriculum?2. In your role at the HASS Teacher, how will you champion and enhance the profile of HASS across our school? (eg. Projects, clubs, showcase etc)
**Role Infromation Prep-6**:
Our school will be entering our second year of embedding PLD into our school as part of our Synthetic Phonics Program. We are looking for a PLD mentor who has extensive knowledge of the program, across the three phases of Primary School.The PLD Mentor will be working with teachers to develop capability and ensure the program is managed with fidelity within the school.Your opportunity will include: - Support teachers with implementation of PLD across their class. Model lessons for staff from P-6. Observe staff lessons and provide feedback. Support in data management and capturing of students using PLD's spreadsheet. Support in placement of students across different groups. Manage the Teacher Aide aligned with PLD in Year 1. Liaise with the PLD team on a regular basis. Induction of new staff in PLD. Lead staff capability sessions including staff meetings and potential committees. Be responsible for budgeting and resourcing of PLD cost centre.Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate. Line management will also fall under the brief of the Head of Department - Curriculum. The principal provides educational leadership for the school and sets the general direction and ethos for all staff, students and community members.Applicants should provide a current CV (maximum 2 pages) including contact details of two referees (one of whom should be your current supervisor) and a one-page statement outlining your suitability for the role.
