Pharmacy Assistant

**The opportunity**
Steve Kolliou Caremore Pharmacy in Thornbury, VIC 3071 is seeking a **part-time**Pharmacy Assistant to join their team to **work every Saturday from 9am-1pm.**
**Prior pharmacy experience is preferred.**
In this role, you will be an integral part of the pharmacy, assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the business.

**Key responsibilities**
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and customers
- Preparing and dispensing medications accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintaining the pharmacy's inventory and stock levels
- Assisting with the ordering and receiving of pharmaceutical supplies
- Adhering to all relevant pharmacy policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Performing clerical duties such as data entry, filing and record-keeping
- Offering advice and guidance to customers on over-the-counter products
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure a high level of patient care

**What we're looking for**
- Preferably someone with prior pharmacy experience and/or studying pharmacy
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
- A friendly, professional and team-oriented attitude
- Relevant experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting (desirable)
