IT Technician

As an IT Support Specialist, you will have a customer-oriented attitude and will be responsible for providing efficient 1st & 2nd Level remote and onsite IT support and assistance to end users in relation to computer hardware, software, telecommunications, and peripheral products, ensuring compliance with all company IT policies.
- If you’re computer-savvy, can work as part of a team or individually and enjoy supporting end users, we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should also be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques.
- Working in a small team you will be responsible for managing customer expectations, while assisting with their I.T. Needs. The ability to problem solve and think critically and laterally are of great importance. We mainly manage Windows environments but also have exposure to Apple and Android. A knowledge of office 365 Windows active directory Hyper V and virtualization is preferred.

Essential:

- Qualification in a computing discipline and/or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an IT support function.
- Superior communications skills both verbal & written with the ability to explain technical issues clearly in lay terms to non-IT staff,
- Contemporary working knowledge of a wide range of computer technologies including desktop hardware, operating systems and peripherals, thin client technology and office automation products.
- Working knowledge of communication protocols and tools e.g., DHCP, TCP/IP, SCCM etc.
- Maintain a current Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to manage time and work automatously
- Australian Citizen or resident

**Salary**: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
