**What you need to be successful in this role**
- Effective verbal and written communication with ability to adapt communication as appropriate to their audience.
- Negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalate issues.
- A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position.
- Uses problem solving and technical skills to solve maintenance, contract, and scheduling issues.
- Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise work of a small team.
- Skills and Experience which will make you stand out
- Sound numeracy and computer skills, particularly MS Office; including the capacity to learn new IT systems.

**Must have’s OR Essential**
- A demonstrated commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct.
- Be willing to undergo a Police Check
- Hold a current NDIS Check or be willing to obtain
- Hold a current Working with Children’s check or be willing to obtain
- A White Card and practical understanding of WHS requirements.
- Current First Aid Certificate
- A current driver’s license
- Physical fitness to meet manual handling requirements

**Nice to have’s OR Desirable**
- A minimum Cert III in a trade and/or Cleaning Operations certificate; or equivalent
- Formal team leadership training and/or equivalent knowledge and experience
- with demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff.
- Experience with working with people with disabilities, particularly in a service
- provision context
- Knowledge and experience in Electrical Test and Tagging including but not limited to: testing and tagging equipment (eg Metrel and Wavecom), Testing office and household appliances, 3 phase testing, RCDs and testing of emergency and exit lighting.
