Sales Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson to join our Plumbing & Hot Water Sales team.

Thrifty Plumbing Supplies / wc bath+shower is Sydney's longest established independent plumbing & bathroom retailer, with 3 stores, based in Campsie, Chatswood & Seven Hills.

We have a small team who work closely together, and who are expertly skilled in their areas of responsibility.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced & professional **Trade Counter Salesperson** to join our Sales team at our **Campsie Store.**

**Your main duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Sales to our customers, including over the counter sales, orders & quotes
- Assisting customers with product selection & options within the Plumbing showroom
- Preparing quotations & sales proposals / some specifications, and following these through to order
- Building customer relationships & maintaining excellent customer service
- Stock control, including receipt & dispatch of goods, and general house-keeping
- Administration tasks, including finalising customer invoices / orders
- Assisting with day-to-day store operations inc cleaning
- Occasional deliveries to our customers

**To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate**:

- Excellent organisational skills with basic computer systems knowledge
- A solid understanding of the flow of information within a business
- The ability to work within a team and busy environment, whilst managing multiple tasks on the go
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to assist in all areas of business operations, as well as the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail

**Role requirements**:
Prior experience in a Trade Sales related role is preferable, as is some Plumbing knowledge and customer service. We provide comprehensive on the job training.

Applicants must be computer literate, reliable, well presented & have good communication skills. Manual Drivers License would be highly regarded.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
