**About the Facility**

Aegis Murdoch is the latest Aged Care Residence in the Aegis Group providing exceptional care including Permanent, Transitional as well as Respite Care in a state-of-the-art, safe and comfortable environment. The Facility is located close to Fiona Stanley Hospital, in the new Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct. Situated adjacent to the Kwinana Freeway and Murdoch train station, makes travel easy via the public transport hub.

**About the Role**

You will be employed by Aegis in the important role of Transitional Care Program (TCP) Manager at Aegis Murdoch. Reporting to the Facility Manager - Aegis Murdoch and as required, accountable directly to the Executive Manager Marketing and Operations and the Executive Manager Finance and Directors. You will hold primary responsibility for:

- Management of the day to day operations of the TCP Unit.
- Additional Clinical Nurse Manager coverage as directed by the Facility Manager of Murdoch Aged Care Facility, including the provision of excellent clinical care, meeting all accreditation outcomes, maintaining high standard hospitality services, meeting operational needs and striving to achieve set financial performance expectations.
- Coordinating and supporting a full complement of staffing in accordance with the Aegis Staffing Model and ensure compliance with the comprehensive Aegis Policies & Procedures covering all aspects of the Facility operations.

**About You**
- Passionate about caring for the aged with the ability to ignite the same in others.
- Exceptional people skills and leadership capabilities.
- Able to communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong management skills, being able to proactively lead, coach and develop a diverse workforce.
- Highly organised with strong planning skills and the ability to manage numerous competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to identify and manage clinical risk in the aged care setting.
- Flexible in responding to resident choice and changing Resident needs.
- Able to identify and manage conflict situations effectively.

**Essential Requirements**
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Management/leadership experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting, with the ability to influence others to deliver high quality care and customer service.
- Full Australian working rights and current national police clearance.
