Role Detail

Get ready to step into the world of corporate hospitality excitement at KWM's Sydney office

Located in the vibrant One Farrer precinct, our office is buzzing with energy, and we're looking for a superstar to join our dynamic Hospitality team. You’ll be at the heart of our client floor, overseeing everything from conference rooms to boardroom events.

We're all about creating an extraordinary experience for our clients, and that's where you come in. With your welcoming smile and polished approach, you'll be the driving force behind our exceptional customer service. Get ready to showcase your silver service skills, take espresso coffee orders like a pro, and deliver impeccable wait service, both à la carte and at our exciting events.

Collaboration is key at KWM, and you'll have the chance to work closely with our talented catering team, ensuring that every detail is taken care of. And since we're a team, lending a hand to our back-of-house crew when needed will be part of your repertoire

Picture yourself in this full-time, permanent role, with shifts rostered from Monday to Friday during the day and evening. We value flexibility, so a little wiggle room with your schedule will be required.

Key duties will include:

- Providing outstanding front of house food and beverage service, including coffee service, to internal and external clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Set up and pack down of meeting rooms, ensuring they are ready for service prior to conferences or events, including: VIP board room lunches, breakfasts, morning or afternoon teas, lunches, cocktail parties and dinners
- Overflow assistance to internal café staff
- Some assistance to back of house including sandwich preparation, washing up or restocking
- Reception relief
- Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Guest Services Manager or Head Chef

About You
- Demonstrated front of house waiting experience in a similar environment such as boardrooms, conference venues or corporate client floors
- Excellent client service skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy and all times
- General food and wine knowledge, as well as knowledge of silver service
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
- Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office software
- Flexible in working hours
- Ability to work both unsupervised and as a collaborative team member
- Other hospitality accreditations highly regarded
