**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications executive to oversee marketing activities at the dynamic Portside Wharf retail precinct in Hamilton. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the brand is always positioned as best in class. This will involve the execution of a variety of engagement strategies designed to deliver a thriving retail precinct, build customer loyalty and engaged retail tenant community.
- This role requires an experienced retail marketing professional who has the maturity to act like an owner, overseeing the day-to-day management of all marketing events, activations and precinct needs, while supporting exciting precinct-wide upgrade works. It will involve liaising with a range of creative agencies including design, PR, photography, videography, social and digital media, and advertising specialists, while also liaising with leasing agents and government agencies.
- We are seeking a passionate individual who is a natural at building close relationships with stakeholders, and balancing the needs of the business, budgets and stakeholder requirements to deliver the best outcomes for the precinct.

This is an on-site role for a part-time contract term of nine months.

What will you be responsible for?
- Monitor external invoicing to ensure Brookfield is being charged correctly and at fair market rates.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Track property marketing budgets and check in regularly with the finance team to ensure there are no discrepancies. Report variances as soon as they are known.
- Maintain communication with the Asset Manager on marketing forecast vs budget report.- Be the brand custodian for Portside Wharf- Manage a wide supplier network to achieve precinct marketing goals, including:- Design creative, public relations, social and digital media, photography, videography, advertising and media buyers-
- Deliver an annual calendar of agreed and adhoc events and activations, including ensuring all legal contracting is in place and health and safety standards are executed in line with policy-
- Develop community partnerships-
- Engage with Government agencies on city initiatives-
- Investigate and execute on opportunities to secure grants and government funding to create additional precinct activity and community engagement-
- Analyse and report on marketing campaigns and customer engagement-
- Build a strong rapport with precinct retailers-
- Create, develop and provide direction on marketing materials that specifically support:- Leasing objectives and development construction objectives-
- Tenant and resident communications-
- BAU precinct operations-
- On-site signage and hoardings-
- Website updates - images and content-
- Operate in accordance with the Brookfield Properties values, brand guidelines and business objectives.-
- Ensure work is all work accurate, best in class and produced in a timely manner.- What experience and qualifications will you possess?
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing and related discipline with a background in property or financial services
- Prior retail marketing experience essential
- Knowledge of design programs such as Photoshop and in-design preferred.
