Our Governance Risk and Compliance (Defence) team support our clients in the Defence Industry to provide tangible outcomes on significant defence/government reforms and transformation projects. Our team bring expertise across governance, risk, and controls advisory, internal audit, contract management, vendor performance, and more, and supports the implementation of strategic outcomes for the Australian Defence Forces that are key to Australia’s national interest.

**Your Opportunity**

Forming part of the GRC Defence team, your role as a Manager will include:

- Leading the development of client deliverables whilst overseeing the day-to-day delivery of client engagements
- Developing Risk Based Assurance and Monitoring Frameworks
- Providing leadership to build the capacity of our delivery teams and integrating capabilities from across the firm, to ensure client engagements are delivered to the highest quality by implementing the right program and project management disciplines
- Bringing together knowledge from teams across our firm, by collaborating with other skilled consultants in our Governance Risk Compliance team and grow our ability to lead and support Defence projects that KPMG delivers
- Work as a part of teams providing tangible outcomes on significant defence/government reforms and transformation projects, key to Australia’s national interest
- Grow and develop alongside a team of experienced management consultants

- Prior experience working on Defence and/or Government Projects
- Knowledge or experience of the Defence Capability Lifecycle, desirable
- A desire to collaborate in teams on short
- and long-term projects, and proven track record in contributing to and delivering projects successfully
- Expertise in risk, internal audit, contract assurance and governance, including developing risk-based assurance and monitoring frameworks, contract auditing and establishing Contract Management Frameworks.

**Qualifications**:

- We are looking for applicants that have Australian Citizenship and an Australian Government Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
