SEO & Marketing Specialist - Work Directly with The Owner

**Factory Buys**, a trusted Australian online furniture retailer, is seeking a motivated, experienced and hands on **SEO & Marketing Specialist** to join our team.

You’ll work directly with the business owner and the marketing team — including working on the technical SEO components, content, backlinks and branding. This is a hands-on role where your ideas and skills will directly shape our brand presence and growth. You will be joining an agile and fast paced team and we value, new and fresh ideas

**What You’ll Do**
- Support our **SEO strategy** through finding new opportunities to build our brand and awareness of what we are all about
- Contribute to performance tracking, reporting and continuous improvement
- Complete website technical audits to identify crawlability, indexation or performance issues, and provide and implement recommendations
- Create a new SEO content strategy that aligns with our incredible growth and customer focussed brand story And Optimise all meta tags, descriptions etc
- Develop new content that drives traffic and optimise existing content that is performing well
- Guide stakeholders on tactical SEO content and search recommendations to support product launches, campaigns and content marketing

**What We’re Looking For**
- **3+ years experience** in SEO and digital marketing
- Deep understanding of SEO principles with comprehensive, proven knowledge of technical, on-page and off-page SEO best practices
- Full-stack SEO with extensive experience in content strategy, technical SEO and off-page SEO
- Skills in keyword research, optimising meta data, heading structure, internal linking and copy with great proofreading skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Basic experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
- Experience with **Bing Webmaster Tools**:

- Familiarity with **Shopify** (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Brisbane-based, with flexibility to work from home and set your own hours
- A self-starter who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative role
