**Position: Grader Operator**

**Term of Employment: Full time position**

**Hours of Employment: 38 hours per week**

**Salary: $70,000 - $75,000**

We are in need of a Full-time Grader Operator who will work with us for 38 hours per week with a base compensation of $70,000 - $75,000 per annum.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Checks equipment daily to maintain efficient and safe operational status: Greasing, oil changes, routine equipment maintenance, and grader blade changes.

Operate equipment to avoid utility lines, equipment and other workers

Adjust hand-wheels and pedals to control blade and bucket attachments, as well as scrapers and swing booms

Coordinate machine actions to move and position loads; learn and follow both hand and audio signals from other crew members and know how to give signals to others

Maneuver equipment with attached blades in successive movements across work areas in order to move rocks, vegetation or topsoil and to spread and level terrain

Constructs new road grades, requiring the ability to read and understand grade stakes, use sight perception and reasoning necessary to balance a grade and cut ditches to reasonable construction tolerance.

Fine grades aggregate to tolerances suitable for pavement base.

Performs any and all activities that can be performed with a Motor Grader

Reads and comprehends mathematics of construction grade stakes.

Perform final trim grading and associated planning tasks to deliver on each project’s road construction schedule.

Performing minor adjustments and maintenance on plant.

Lubricating, cleaning and refuelling machinery and positioning it ready for use.

Following safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Grader ticket and any other plant operator tickets
- Current MC Drivers Licence
- Must have ability to operate a 14/16 H/M Graders efficiently and precisely.
- Current Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
- White Card
- Driver's Licence
- Experience is valuable however reliability, motivation & positive attitude are essential

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
