**Your Opportunity**

We're looking for a passionate **Dispensary Technician **to join our high performing Dispensary team on a Fixed Term Full-time basis (38 hours per week) roster from Monday to Friday.

All the training will be provided to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your role and contribute effectively to the team's success
- Reviews the script to ensure accuracy and appropriateness before dispensing commences.
- Ensure the correct formulation in accordance with the script has been finalised prior to dispensing the medication.
- Ensuring that appropriate computer software is utilised in accordance with all procedures.
- Ensure that the logs are kept up to date on the Intranet.
- Maintain the established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazard medications.
- Confirm that beyond use dating procedures are followed and that ancillary patient product labels are correct prior to labelling of product.
- Ensure status cards for critical equipment are in order and kept up to date.

**What you will bring to Our Team**
- A passionate to help animals is a must.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in the Veterinary industry is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in Pharmacy is highly desirable.
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
