**Join Our Team as a Room Leader - Early Learning Centre, Mulgrave**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced **Diploma Qualified Room Leader** to join our newly renovated Early Learning Centre in Mulgrave.

Our boutique service caters for up to 28 children aged 0-6 years and offers beautifully refurbished indoor and outdoor environments. We believe in nurturing children through nature-inspired, play-based learning, supporting the development of their motor skills, confidence, and understanding of sustainability.

**About the Role**

As a **Room Leader**, you will take the lead in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for the children in your room. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a high-quality educational program that reflects the interests and needs of the children, while also guiding and mentoring fellow educators.

Working closely with the Educational Leader, you will play a vital role in curriculum planning, documentation, and ensuring that practices align with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of educators to create a nurturing and inclusive environment
- Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate programs based on children’s interests
- Document and analyze children’s learning through observations and assessments
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider team
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Foster a room culture that promotes exploration, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging

**About You**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Proven experience in a leadership or Room Leader role within early childhood education (Minimum of 2 years Experience)
- Excellent knowledge of the VEYLDF, NQS, and child development principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full Australian working rights
- Current Working With Children Check
- Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certification
