We are seeking an enthusiastic Diploma Educator to join our team at Deer Park West Kindergarten. Deer Park West Kindergarten provides high-quality, play-based early learning programs. For over 40 years, we have brought together many families, committee members, teachers, and educators in our kindergarten community. We value the importance of play and every child’s right to play. We know children learn best through play, and we believe kindergarten is an extraordinary time in a child’s life. We adopt a holistic approach to promote a safe, secure, stimulating, dynamic learning environment that empowers children to become lifelong learners and succeed.

This Diploma Educator position is a fixed-term position until 25 January 2025. You will be working on a Tuesday from 8:15am - 4:00pm. A total of 7.75 hours.

**What will you do?**
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff and the local community
- Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program, through detailed observations & documentation
- Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend on children's learning
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis

**More about you**
- A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standard
- Experience working as an Assistant Educator in a long day care service - depending on the needs of the service this can be removed.
- Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
