**Role description**:
The National Operations Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our Business Area Directors and Country Director in the overall operations of the Australian business. Overseeing the national Workplace team, you’ll be working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to increase efficiency, ensure compliance and drive success.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Leadership and coordination of our Workplace team in Australia;
- Responsible for property management issues in country in coordination with the global Workplace team;
- Act as the point of contact in country for coordination of lease agreements and amendments;
- Responsible for fleet vehicles and their maintenance, insurance and registration, replacement and sale, as well as car parking;
- Assistance in Coordination of National communications including weekly bulletins;
- Work with the global procurement team to ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems;
- Coordination and maintenance of Register of Engineering Certifications for each state;
- Assistance in Coordination of Crisis Management Mock Drills and Coordination of Crisis Management Team Members;
- Support and Coordination of a Consistent On-Boarding Protocol for all new Arcadians in each Australian Office;
- Coordinate and support workplace teams for in office staff and client events, Christmas Parties, Project / Proposal Milestone events, and ‘Project of the Year’ Awards;
- Coordination of Country Management meetings including Town Hall Meetings, Board of Directors Meeting, Sales Community Meetings and Australian Management Meetings.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life. Joining as our National Operations Manager for Australia, you’ll come into this role with:

- Strong organisational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Experience in financial management and budgeting;
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems and ISO 27001 Coordination and Compliance;
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with good attention to detail;
- Knowledge of property management, including lease agreements and amendments, maintenance, and repair issues;
- Understanding of fleet management, including vehicle maintenance, insurance, registration, and replacement;
- Experience in event management and coordination, including charity events, sporting events, and company-wide activities;
- Understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
