The City of Perth Parks and Environment Team is responsible for preserving and managing 120 hectares of open parkland, including reserves, heritage gardens, pocket parks, and streetscapes, all in a CBD environment. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our team and help shape the future of the City.
As the Team Leader Parks, you will support the City by:
- Leading and managing a team, allocating work and resources (people & equipment) to achieve targets in accordance with the operational requirements of the Parks & Environment Operations service.
- Ensuring all team members are informed of their role accountabilities, performance standards and their performance is managed through effective two-way communications, monitoring, evaluation, and the provision of appropriate feedback and development opportunities.
- Participating in developing and implementing training and performance-shaping programs within a team environment and with individual staff.
