Rare opportunity for an experienced Assistant Development Manager to join an innovative and active market leader with extensive exposure across all property asset classes.

The company is extremely diverse business who procure, develop, construct and maintain a wide range of property with a vast portfolio currently under management.

**The Role**

This is a hands-on Assistant Development Manager role for an experienced, ambitious professional with a passion for property. Key responsibilities include:

- Perform market research and articulate findings into meaningful information to substantiate feasibility studies and proposals;
- Prepare project budgets from feasibility models, effectively managing and monitoring costs against budget throughout the project lifecycle;
- Review designs and provide feedback to consultants to ensure effective delivery of contractual commitments and commercial objectives;
- Drive design and town planning procedures by liaising and negotiating with councils and relevant authorities to deliver favorable outcomes;
- Establish creative ways to de-risk projects by maximizing revenue and/or reducing costs throughout the delivery phase;
- Create compelling sales and marketing strategies for execution;
- Effective coordination of the sale and leasing process;
- Contract review and administration throughout the development lifecycle; and
- Establish and build alliances with key stakeholders including tenants, purchasers, authorities, industry bodies and suppliers.

- Minimum 2 years’ Assistant Development Management experience
- Diploma or degree in an associated field will be highly regarded
- In-depth knowledge of design theories, principles and practices
- Sound understanding of project administration and the construction process
- Demonstrated time management, multitasking and high-level organisational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain cohesive and effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word and Excel
- Strong work ethic with exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting deadlines in a professional manner
- Ability to work under pressure and balance priorities to achieve positive outcomes
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

**Salary**: Up to $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Keilor VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
