Female Motor Neurone Disease

Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join the team, located throughout South-East Melbourne.
- Female participant.
- Parkdale location.
- Daily (Monday - Sunday) 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Potential for additional shifts covering other support workers. Possibility of additional hours over time.
- Potential to pick up additional shifts with other participants nearby.
- Motor Neurone Disease (MND) diagnosis.
- Female support worker(s) preferred.
- Knowledge of PEG/PEG feeding advantageous.
- NIV knowledge and experience highly regarded.
- Tasks may include: personal care (showering), basic medication administration, getting ready for bed.
- Knowledge and familiarity with mobility equipment such as a mobility scooter, recliner chair, electric bed advantageous.
- Subject to meet and greet.

We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.

**Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain)**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants
