The position requires a suitably experienced Production Supervisor, who is committed to our people, their safety and continuous improvement of our product and processes.
With a positive and mature attitude, the successful applicant will lead daily activities with a ‘hands on’ approach within the operational arena. This position is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of the Kilns and Boilers for optimum productivity, recovery and compliance with quality control systems. This involves day to day management of the Kilns and Boiler department, including meeting key KPI targets. Your passion and drive to take ownership of the role, steering change and process improvement will be paramount to success.
The role is based on dayshift, with the ability to cover evening shifts as required.

- Ensuring safe systems of work are followed for all activities
- Setting up and operating Kilns and Boilers effectively and according to standards
- Analysing and rectifying faults

- Ability to drive change
- Strength in managing people to ensure engagement and efficiency in operations
**Key to your success in this role will be**:
- Identify and solve problems that occur in the workplace with the aim of Process Improvement
- Engaging department staff and developing positive relationships
- Working with inter-department staff to drive Asset Reliability and Plant uptime
- Coordinate initial response and facilitate breakdown repairs in timely manner
- Strong analytical and fault-finding skills (Boiler Operational experience)
