About the business
We are located in the Rocks next to the Shangri la Hotel. The restaurant has five private dining rooms and a great cocktail bar and seat 60 people. We are a long established Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant (since 1992) offering unique and stlylish dinging. We are focused on delivering great customer expereinces through staff engagement, skilled chefs, great quality food and unique expereincess
About the role
You will be a customer oreinted person, enjoy engaging with people and enjoy working with small dedicated teams, you will have a professional mindset and strong work ethic.
Skills and experience
- You will need to be currently residing in Australia and legally able to work
- Have at least 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role
- Be able to independently manage own section as a waiter/waitress (we will prvide all the required training)
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional customer service standards
- Effective problem solving abilities
- Ability to maintain a high level of service delivery even when under pressure
- Be driven and self-motivated
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
