Mechanical Maintenance Technician

**About T-Ports**

T-Ports specialises in bulk handling, storage and transhipping of grain using cutting-edge state of the art facilities and equipment. T-Ports constructed the first transhipment port at Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula and is progressing construction of the second port at Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula. As well as the two transhipment ports, T-Ports operates up-country grain storage sites and a transhipment vessel that discharges grain into ocean-going vessels at sea. T-Ports is founded on four pillars, Innovation, safety, integrity, and efficiency.

**About the Role**

This is a diverse role that will require an all-rounder, with a can-do attitude, who is prepared to take on a vast selection of duties. Ranging from preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to breakdowns and small project work, including marine maintenance.
- Full-Time permanent role
- Report to the Asset & Maintenance Planner
- Ensuring all machinery works at optimum performance
- Trouble shooting faults and findings
- Ongoing maintenance of bulk handling assets, mobile plant, marine equipment, including breakdowns.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of drive system components, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, combustion engines and general mechanical repairs.
- Strong focus to work safety
- Using CMMS system MEX

- Trade Qualified
- Fitter and Turner, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic **. - Essential**:

- C Class License. - **Essential**:

- Working in confined spaces - **Essential**:

- Experience with Microsoft office suit, particularly word and excel - **Essential**:

- Working at Heights

- Previous Agri-business or bulk handling plant - **beneficial**
