**Description**:
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Supervisor (Fixed Plant), to lead one of our maintenance functions at our Duketon South Operations. The Duketon South Operation comprises of both open cut and underground mining hubs - a 5mtpa processing facility at Garden Well and a 2.5mtpa processing facility at Rosemont. As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out fixed plant maintenance planning activities, scheduling, reporting and logistics, while maintaining a hands-on approach to supervising your team.
This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (ex Perth).
About the Role
Coordinate and schedule short and long-term maintenance of fixed plant;
Fault finding and repairs as required to the fixed plant;
Source and book external labour as required;
Mentoring and development of maintenance trades staff;
Develop and implement a continuous improvement system;
Assist in maintaining stock levels and registers;
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and attention to detail; and
Maintain accurate records of plant and statutory testing.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
Relevant maintenance Trade qualification;
Demonstrated supervisory experience with milling and crushing circuit maintenance in a mining fixed plant processing environment;
Demonstrated skills in report writing, spreadsheets, costing systems, cost control;
Demonstrated supervisory and employee management skills, prior experience in a similar role;
Demonstrated skills in achieving safe production targets;
S26 exposure, certificate or ability to obtain certificate; and
WA C class drivers licence (manual).
