**The Role**

Black Star Pastry is thriving and we're looking for a casual Kitchen Hand to join the team in our Moore Park Production Kitchen at Sydney's iconic Entertainment Quarter. Please note we will be relocating to Alexandria later this year.

Your main responsibilities will include cleaning kitchen equipment and machinery,

monitoring and rotating stock levels and generally maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen

**About You**
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
- Able to build effective and constructive relationships - a true team player
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and concisely.

**Our Business**

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with four stores across Sydney and two in Melbourne.

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
