Associate role in Dispute Resolution and Litigation for a large commercial law firm in Sydney

**Your new company**

Large national commercial law firm with offices across Australia. They provide a full range of legal services to many large public and private companies in Australia and across all levels of government. Their Dispute Resolution and Litigation team handles a wide range of disputes for clients across various industry sectors, including government, property, technology, and media. Their client base incorporates national and international businesses, government departments, listed companies, private companies, SMEs, and individuals.

**Your new role**
- Working alongside an esteemed partner with extensive experience in dispute resolution and litigation.
- Undertaking a broad range of work including: commercial and contract disputes; corporate disputes; intellectual property disputes; and public and administrative law matters.
- Working closely with private clients and government departments, including in judicial and merits reviews.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Admitted to practice in NSW with a current Legal Practising Certificate.
- Minimum 3-5 years PAE in dispute resolution and litigation.
- Experience across a broad range of complex disputes and litigation in one or more of the following areas: commercial and contractual disputes; corporate disputes; corporate insolvency law; property and leasing disputes; regulatory disputes and commissions of inquiry; public and administrative law.
- High-level drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor junior lawyers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
