Oji Cardboard Carton Solutions, part of the rapidly expanding global Oji Group, specialises in the manufacture of innovative packaging solutions. Our Dandenong South plant produces printed, plain and litho corrugated cartons which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of our customer’s products - some of which include: wine and fruit boxes, point of sale displays, shelf ready cartons and multi component heavy duty packaging.

This key role within the plant will involve being responsible for all aspects of machine operation, including leading the machine crew and working as part of a team, timely and accurate machine set-up; preparing tooling/materials for the next order, housekeeping, machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance, performing in-process quality checks, product presentation and ensuring that the Gluer runs at its optimum performance.

To be successful for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate:

- A ‘can do’ attitude and be a self-starter;
- Ability to be a team player and work autonomously;
- Good communication skills;
- Knowledge of metrics and be technically proficient;
- Experience running a specialty gluer would be highly regarded;
- A strong focus on quality and commitment to upholding Workplace Health & Safety standards in your own work and that of others.
