As such, we are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our support office team and partner with our people across all business units.

**About the Position**

Reporting to the People and Projects Director, we are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to support the Australian business in our continued business growth.

As our HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with leaders and their teams to drive key people initiatives and support a culture where everyone can do their best work. From employee engagement and talent development to performance and change management, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse range of projects and initiatives in a true business partner approach that will help to shape the HR agenda for the business.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Providing support, counselling, mediation and advice to employees; resolving conflicts and disagreements in a professional manner whilst maintaining effective relationships and fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Supporting talent development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Championing change initiatives and embedding company values into everything we do.
- Developing and contributing to the review, implementation, creation, and monitoring of internal policies and procedures along with providing on-going coaching of employees around the translation and implementation of Company policies.
- Support talent attraction and development.
- Leading a HR coordinator to ensure efficient day-to-day HR operations.
- Assisting with the administration of the fortnightly payroll

**Skills & experience**:

- Experience with award interpretation (specifically GRIA and FFIA).
- Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Relations or Human Resources.
- Retail or hospitality industry experince would be highly advantageous.
- A proven ability to develop productive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- 3+ years' experience in a HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
- Ability to confidently build trust and credibility and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload along with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to truly understand the operational impact of the people agenda.
