Our brand-new hotel, Crowne Plaza Adelaide Mawson Lakes, boasts 155 contemporary rooms featuring cutting-edge technology and premium amenities. With versatile meeting spaces as well as a vibrant bar, and a restaurant, we’re set to become the go-to destination for both business and leisure travellers in Adelaide.

We’re looking for a reliable and dedicated **Handyperson** to support our Maintenance Manager with day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the hotel. You’ll play a key role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and looking their best — helping us deliver true hospitality for every guest.

**This is a part time position, working a minimum of 3 days per week (0.6 FTE). Afternoon and weekend work will be required.**

**Your day to day**
- Performing general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the hotel
- Fixing small issues with non-gas, non-electrical kitchen equipment
- Carrying out basic plumbing tasks (e.g. replacing tap washers, fixing toilet flushers/seals)
- Completing minor carpentry jobs like fitting skirting boards or adjusting doors
- Painting and touch-up jobs, including wall repair
- Replacing light globes and maintaining in-room tech (TV/movie systems, automation)
- Carrying out basic bathroom repairs such as grouting, re-siliconing, and tile touch-ups
- Keeping the hotel safe and secure by following all safety and compliance procedures
- Support with managing maintenance supplies, minimising waste, and supporting our green initiatives
- Other duties as required to support the Maintenance Manager and hotel operations

**What we need from you**
- Understanding of basic air conditioning principles
- A team player who’s solution-focused and committed to safety
- Ability to use a property management system preferably HubOS
- Weekends, afternoon work and public holidays are all part of the job
- You’ll be on your feet most of the day with bending and kneeling. Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull objects, to 23 kg - we have the equipment to support you
- Strong communication skills
- Someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and pays attention to detail
- A hands-on, practical mindset with a can-do attitude
