Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a **Buyer **with **Catalogue Marketing** experience to join our Innovations **Hom**e **team** at our Frenchs Forest location.

**THE ROLE**:
As the Buyer for the Home Category (Manchester, Bedding and Bath), you will be responsible for delivering Category Management to ensure the growth and profitability of the category through strong market understanding, insightful product selection, global sourcing and development to successful delivery of the monthly promotional campaign together with catalogue marketing, range building and development.

**KEY AREAS OF FOCUS**:

- Manage end to end category performance to deliver budgeted Sales and Margin growth
- Conduct annual range reviews to ensure that budgeted financial plans can be delivered
- Strategically plan on introducing new product categories in order to deliver new customer acquisition opportunities and drive sales retention from our existing customer base
- Source new ranges within existing product categories to drive sales and margin growth
- Manage product life cycle to reduce aged inventory, increase stock turns and increase in stock levels
- Plan and deliver annual campaign program across all channels
- Participate in product review meetings to present products for company purchase.
- Co-ordinate product training and support for internal and external customers.
- All administration requirements

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in same or similar roles as a Retail Buyer
- Catalogue Marketing experience
- Strong Buying acumen with a focus on General Merchandise ranges, an ability to integrate merchandising and product sourcing approaches with strategic direction
- Strong ability to manage workload and priorities
- Experience in the Home Category (bedding, bath, home décor & soft furnishing) is preferred
- Management of budgets and programs to determined targets
- Strong communication, including powerful negotiations and influencing abilities
- Numeracy and analytical skills.
- Competency with Excel and Microsoft programs
- A great team player
