Food and Beverage Attendant

Papa J's Resto Bar is looking for an enthusiastic, fun-friendly, with knowledge and passion on Filipino-Asian food and wine to join our energetic front of house team.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Greet customers politely and show customers to their tables.
- Present and explain well the menu items to customers.
- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the menu items and daily specials.
- Be aware of allergy information and dietary requirements on the menu items.
- Offer food and wine suggestions.
- Inform customers of the set menu or special items not listed on the menu.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately including any special requests and input the order into POS system.
- Work with bartenders, kitchen staff to process and expedite orders if needed.
- Pre-set table for the orders
- Deliver and serve food and beverages at tables.
- Use food handling and serving techniques.
- Upsell food and beverage items throughout the meal.
- Monitor customer's needs and promptly handle requests.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with their food orders, beverages and service.
- Handle customer complaints in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain the table setting by clearing courses as completed, replacing utensils, glasses if needed
- Process cash and credit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organised service area
- Dispose of trash according to the restaurant procedures
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Comply with safety, health and hygiene policies and procedures.

Other duties include:
Opening, setting up and closing the restaurant. Be able to work under pressure and effectively without direct supervision. A polite manner, professional attitude and a strong work ethics. Ability to communicate well with the team and customers.
