An opportunities exists for Cold Store Forklift Operators to join our Forrestfield team.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Manual picking and palletising frozen, chilled and dry products
- Manual staging of consignments and checking goods prior to loading ensuring they are correctly packaged, allocated, staged and there is no damage to goods or packaging
- Putting away of received freight into correct allocated bay
- Manual container unloading
- Use of manual / electric pallet jacks to assist in loading and unloading pans and moving products for storage
- Cleaning and housekeeping ( this is an essential and core function of the role)
- Ad-hoc duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Australian forklift ticket
- Experience in a cold store environment advantageous
- Experience in staging and or loading refrigerated pans advantageous
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures a in accordance with standards
- High regard for safety and a safe working environment
- High attention to detail and ability to effectively up manage as required
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to the team
- Capable of working in cold environment (approx. -4 to -21 degrees)
- Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual and have a "can do" attitude
- High level of personal hygiene and for maintaining a clean working environment
- High level of fitness to undertake repetitive manual handling tasks (pick /pack and container unloading)
