**Private Piano Tutor**

**Position**: Private Piano Tutor for Kindergarten-Aged Girl**Location**: Vaucluse, Sydney NSW**Hourly Rate**: $40-45 / 30 min lesson

2 x lessons per week

**Key Details**:

- **Location**: Vaucluse NSW 2030
- **Working Hours**: One 30 mins-long lesson on a weekday and one on the weekend, with sessions continuing during school holidays.
- **Rate**: $40-45 per 30 mins. Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Piano Lessons**: Deliver engaging and age-appropriate private piano lessons that focus on foundational skills and foster a love for music.
- **Individualised Approach**: Tailor lessons to suit the child's interests, abilities, and learning pace.
- **Skill Development**: Introduce and build musical concepts, including note reading, rhythm, and technique.
- **Progress Monitoring**: Regularly communicate progress, feedback, achievements, and areas for growth with the family.
- **Encouraging Environment**: Create a positive and inspiring learning atmosphere that encourages creativity and curiosity.

**Selection Criteria**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience teaching piano to young children, with an understanding of early childhood learning principles.
- **Qualifications**: A degree in Music, Education, or a related field is preferred but not essential. AMEB accreditation or similar is a plus.
- **Skills**: Ability to teach foundational piano skills in a fun, engaging, and patient manner.
- **Personality**: Kind, encouraging, and energetic; passionate about fostering a lifelong love of music.
- **Requirements**:

- Valid Working With Children Check certificate.
- Ability to commute to location.

- Piano Playing: 5 years (preferred)
