**About the Role**
As a Lecturer in Arboriculture at TAFE SA, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training to students pursuing careers in arboriculture and related fields. You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and industry-relevant training programs, both in the classroom and through hands-on field experiences. You will also mentor students, ensuring they gain the practical skills and knowledge required to succeed in this vital industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver training in Arboriculture and related fields using inclusive teaching methodologies.
- Develop and assess training materials that comply with regulatory and industry standards.
- Mentor and coach students, supporting their career development and academic success.
- Engage with industry partners to ensure currency in training packages and to offer students valuable networking opportunities.
- Facilitate flexible learning environments including face-to-face, field trips, and online learning.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the teaching program.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve team objectives.

The successful applicant:

- Must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or Diploma, or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- A Diploma in Arboriculture is highly desirable.
- A thorough and practical knowledge of Arboriculture or related training packages and products.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
