Plaster Technician, Clinical Access and Operations

An exciting opportunity exists to provide operational and educational support within the role of Plaster Technician to designated areas Outpatient services, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. Speciality clinical services at the SCUH will access the ACC to provide outpatient services for their patients. These services work closely together with the ACC team to ensure the provision of collaborative integrated outpatient care.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Application of Plaster of Paris casts / Synthetic Casts
- Removal of Casts
- Ordering orthopaedic appliances - ensuring consumables are always in stock
- Work in clinic areas as directed and set priorities of care in consultation with the Clinical Nurse in Orthopaedics and /or the Nurse Unit Manager
