**Betta Produce Burpengary** is looking for a new team member.

Our produce business is a retail store supplying hay and stock feeds, small animal feeds and accessories, fencing and gardening supplies etc. It has been operating for over 30 years and we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and product knowledge.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic sales/store person to join our team. This is a casual position working 15-30 hours per week including most Saturdays in our family-owned business.

Main duties/Responsibilities:

- Maintain the highest level of customer service;
- Regular unloading and loading of bags of stockfeed, bales of hay and bags of chaff and carry purchases to customer’s cars;
- Receive and unpack stock;
- Monitor stock levels and stock shelves as required;
- Provide information, advice and assistance to customers regarding suitable

animal feed and other products;
- Handle phone enquiries;
- Maintain store cleanliness; and
- Other duties as required.

**The successful applicant must have**:

- An outgoing personality, friendly disposition and tidy appearance;
- Physical fitness as regular heavy lifting of 20kg bags and manual handling of stock is a day to day task that is essential to the position;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong work ethic and common sense;
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised at times;
- Keen attention to detail;
- Good time management skills as this is a fast paced environment;
- Previous retail experience;
- Knowledge of animal health and stock/pet food; and
- Current forklift license preferred

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $17.54 - $29.23 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability
